The other day I noticed water leaking out from under the kitchen island. After removing the under-sink dividers and flooring pieces I couldn't tell where the water was coming from. I could hear dripping at first but once I pulled the dividers it didn't leak any longer nor did it make the dripping noise. All the plumbing runs up through the bottom in the corner. This is the corner that was wet and one of the divider screws was rusty so I could tell it had been wet before. I have just left it for three days with normal use and it has not leaked. We had just done the dishes (it doesn't have a dishwasher) and then noticed the leaking. I do not recall in the gray water valve was open or closed, My question is if the valve was closed and that tank was full where would the water go? Could it come up through the pipe that has the air/gap vent assembly?
This is a 2024 unit, and the tank gauges have not been accurate since day 1. They have been worked on by the dealer 5 or 6 times to the point I gave up. I assume if our gray water valve was open this leak would not have occurred. I control my 3 waste valves manually since we do have a washer and dryer. After doing a couple washer loads I like to use the warm soapy wastewater to rinse out the black water plumbing. I do this with the gray water at times too, I have been told to not just leave your valves open due to the possibility of odors coming up. How would this happen though with Pee Traps in place? The other reason I don't leave the Black valve open is I like to have some water in the Black tank to help break down the solids prior to being discharged to waste tank, septic etc.
Is there a reliable answer to these tank sensers being garbage and any thoughts to this leak?

Thank you for your help

I would suspect that either the blue or red PEX lines are leaking way up under the sink where they attach to the faucet usually caused by either a loose connection or one of the two fittings that are pressed into the bottom of the faucet is leaking... ( had this happen on our 2014 many years ago ) with same leak of water coming out from under the island..

I would dry everything off and then place a paper towel under the where the fixture is at and also one at the sink P trap elbow and then observe for leaks..

Note - never leave your RV unattended with the city water on or water pump turned on... over the years Ive seen many folks post pics of flooded RVs when they returned to their RV and left the water on.

Darles offers some good advice above. It is possible a full tank could back up and out the air admittance valve. But your later statement implies it happens after washing dishes.

The standard gauges are totally unreliable. You can either replace them with SeaLevel gauges (they are external to the tank and don't get coated with junk) or just ignore them altogether. After a while you will know how long you can go before you need to dump.

You can, and maybe should (especially with a washer), leave the grey valves open all the time as long as you have a "P_-Trap" is the sewer hose to block any order..

Absolutely leave the sewer valve close until near full! Leaving it open allows the liquids to escape and the solids to become concrete like. Not fun to fi

This is an outside shot, but it happened to us so….
We had a 3121, basically the same unit as you. After about 1 year we had a leak under the sink and I traced it down to the sink drain on the right hand side. The storage slots for the sink cover and oven racks were almost directly under the drain and I came to the conclusion that every time I would accelerate or tap the brakes that heavy sink cover must have been tipping back and forth. Each time it would come forward, it hit the tail piece of the drain eventually loosening the drain flange to the point it was leaking.
I unthreaded the flange and let the paper and rubber gaskets dry out overnight and put everything back together.
Now, As I tap this out, I am thinking what year did Montana switch to the farm sink so you may have that and this might not be possible. But if you have the 60/40 sink, just maybe it could be.

Try wrapping some paper towels around the pex pipes and drain pipes.
It should make it easier to see where it's getting wet if it is just a small, slow leak.

Yes, ours is the farm style and it appears to be damp only in the corner away from the center of the drain. But it hasn’t done it again since the first time so I’m not really thinking there’s a problem. It may have just been overflow somehow. Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

Thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate it. Have you ever installed those external type of gauges? I haven’t had any leaking since the first time it leaked. I’m thinking it must’ve been overflow or something like that because it’s been fine ever since and there’s no moisture on any of the water Pex lines

I did check those lines pretty thoroughly and they are dry. I am able to get all the way to the top of them where they attached to the faucet hose. Anyway, no signs of moisture since it leaked that one day several days ago. I think it must’ve just been Overflow or I’ll just keep an eye on it and see if it happens again thank you.
