Hello and thank you in advance. We are new owners, 2020 Montana 3711ms. I am trying to figure out the basics. I will be running power to the rig, will my water heater run on propane, or electric? The gas will be on for the stove, which I haven’t touched yet. If there a pilot light in either appliance I need to light? Again sorry for the basic questions.

Tony,

Your water heater will run on propane, electric or both. There are no pilot lights, electronic ignition is used for the furnace and water heater. Your oven may have a pilot depending on the model, stove typically has a push button ignition.

What AZ Traveler said about the water heater.

Regarding the oven.
Sometimes they can be tricky to light.
Because there are many different models search YouTube for your model for instructions on how to light it.
Ours, you turn the knob on to start the flow of gas, then push the sparker button on top until the pilot light, lights or until it goes BOOM from too much gas in the oven.
Newer models are much safer.
