Members described Up The Creek Campground in Pigeon Forge as a quiet, well-maintained, no-frills option with greenery, a stream, wildlife, and less noise than the busier campgrounds nearby. The original poster liked the setting but noted the drive through Chattanooga and Knoxville added about an hour due to traffic around the 24/75 interchange.

We looked at this place in 2017, it’s a nice no thrills camp ground. Well maintained, green, has a stream running through it. It’s off the beaten path of the craziness of all the other cramped in campgrounds in this area.

The worst part of getting here is we have to travel through Chattanooga and Knoxville to get here. We had a traffic jam at 24/75 interchange, cars banging off of each other. All and all about 7hr trip should have been 6 hr trip.

No thrills huh, LOL. I find no frills campgrounds to much more thrilling than frills campgrounds😎 Looks like a very inviting place!

No pools, no stores, no nothing. Just bears, birds, squirrels and other critters. No loud noises, now if you’re looking for noise just head into the madness a few miles down the road.

My kind of place. No nothing! Not as remote as the Shirley Basin Wy. Where you can sit for days or months and see no one and still be miles and miles from a store.

We’ve stayed there 3 or 4 times. Nice place but it will flood in the rainy season. Last time we went to the mountains we stayed in Maggie Valley NC. Very beautiful and peaceful. After 3 days we both said we would never stay in PF again.

We spent 4th of July weekend at Two Rivers Landing and RV Resort in Sevierville just up the road from Pidgeon Forge.
It was very nice. They has lots of activities planned throughout the weekend for adults and kids.

We arrived on the 3rd and it was busy coming thru town. But starting the 5 it’s pretty empty lol. We took the tram to the big ferries wheel yesterday and had a good time. 6 bucks for an all day tram for my wife and I, well worth it.
