For those of you who have six-point leveling, I was wondering if you still use a tripod stabilizer in the front of your RV?

We are considering buying the 3750 FL with six-point leveling. The living room is in the front so I am thinking that it would make sense to still use a tripod stabilizer?

Nope , not for us but we do not have the Front living, the 6 point keeps everything nice and stable and one less heavy cumbersome thing to bring with ya!!!:)folks with FL's can chime in on this one though[?]

I would try the FL without it first and add if you feel it's needed. Our Montana is not a FL but it is ROCK SOLID without anything in addition to the 6 point system.

The camper we had before this Montana, we had electric landing gear installed on the rear, and moved the scissors from the rear to midship and still had to use the tripod to stabilize. With the 3750FL with the 6 point, the tripod now sets in the garage. Will probably try to sell it at the rally.

we use our tripod to put lights on and it looks like a Christmas tree, otherwise do not use it as we notice no difference

We added Level-up last year before the Rally and sold our Tripod Jack at the Rally. Haven't missed it.

For now, I must use the tripod to keep our bedroom steady and hate the thing. If I could afford the 6 foot, or even use the way less expensive SteadyFast or similar system, then I'd be very happy. Alas, my list is long.

Hmmm, a Christmas tree. That's a thought up until I realized that the tripod weighs too much to lug around, is too short (for me) and I would have to paint it green. Plus, it would still be a pain to fold and stow. I think I'd get more money recycling the metal.

If you can find a way to replace that sucker and you've got the 6 foot paid for, then you should get rid of that weighty cumbersome object.

LMAO that's funny Art-n-Marge Christmas tree:DI got lucky after trying to sell it on Craigslist for 3 weeks with no bites so I put it up at my sisters Garage sale and Whadda ya know? SOLD 50 bucks!! That guy saved my "Christmas tree" from the Dump:)

We have the 6 point on our 3150RL. We have a Splendede in the center of the front closet. On spin it does shake the rig a bit, but in normal everyday use, there is no movement.

I also have the Mor/Ryde pin and if I did have a pin stablizer it would do no good cause the pin would still move around.

Thanks all!

Pretty unanimous it looks like. One more reason to drool as I try to figure out how to make the jump over to the 3750FL and six-points...

It sounds like youu have already figured out what you would like to do Wayne but thought I would add my 2cents just in case.

We have a 3100RL with the 6point leveling system (which is worth drooling over) and the only time I find we need the tripod is when I am doing laundry in the Splendid 7100XC washer that is in our front cap on the passenger side. If you have your living room up there I do not think you would need it because I never notice shaking except when the washer is running a spin cycle. Hope that helps!

Have fun drooling! We just go our rig and I am drooling over the frameless windows that weren't an option on ours so the drooling never ends!

If you have a 3900FB with a washer and dryer in the nose, the 5th shakes on the spin cycle of the washer. I put in a tripod and it stopped the shaking by 2/3s.

My wife is a 'use the campground facilities' woman and so this won't be an issue for us.

Since I don't do the laundry, I'm calling this a double win!

I bought one and never took it out of box! Sold it on Craigslist still in box! That six point system is magic! Never any movement and I am ( the low side of 250 lbs) so I should know! Verbally I am not fat, just big boned!!!
