I use the TireMinder with sensors on both the Monty and the TV. It has given me good service for quite a few years. Lots of peace of mind knowing that if a tire starts getting low I will get a warning before damage is done.

Most everyone recommends the TST-507 with flow thru sensors. It'll cost you about 1/2 the price of the damage a blown tire will cost you. eTrailer is the best place to get it only because Amazon isn't really equipped to recommend the best parts for your RVing needs.

So we just traded in our problem free 2014 Cougar 28RLS in April for a 2021 Montana High Country 295RL . Came with Rainiers. Question is without getting into a China bombs debate does anyone use the W.A.S.P. TPMS ? Pros/Cons? If not the W.A.S.P. what's another reliable system that won't break the bank?

Using the TST system w/ color monitor. If you get this unit be sure to remove the screen protector. Nowhere do they tell you you have a screen protector on the monitor. I went for two weeks before someone told me about it! LOL. Make a big difference in bein able to see the screen!

I do not know your tow vehicle. We have 2020 F-350, single real wheel, King Ranch, towing a 2021 - 3121RL Legacy Package with Super Solar. I use the Ford TPMS which I like because tire readings for the Montana are displayed in the driver information display, between Speedometer & Tach. I do not need a secondary screen to monitor. I have no idea as to the cost because I had the dealer include the system for free before closing the deal. The downside is the system is not Wifi/bluetooth. I plug into a connection below the 7pin plug. I wired the system myself.

TST 507. Flow through sensors user changeable batteries. Pressure and temp monitoring. It has been great for many years. My 2016 RN375 FL came with Rainier Tires not made in China. I will change them this year. I have never been close to over loading the tires.

TST sold mine direct years ago. Cheaper than many stores. They also upgraded to the 507 when it came out. Nice Company! Make sure whatever you buy has user changeable sensor batteries sand can handle as many sensors as you need. My TST 507 easily handles my dually and at least 3 more axles.

i have used the inside tire tpms on my larger 40 foot rv (montana) for over 6 years with no problems. When i bought a second rv (30 foot wildcat) i went with the flow thru style. After two years two of the units quit working. Since i had purchased thru TECHNO Rv, i called the service number and the agent said he would send out two new ones no charge. Before the agent hung up, he said, why dont i just send you 4 new ones (in case of), I call that good customer service. As of now i would recommend T
PMS thru TECHNO RV.

We've used the Hawkshead TPMS system for 4 years. Excellent system. Provides pressure and temp info/warnings.
We pull a 42' 3790rd with a HDT rv hauler (Volvo 730). When we went the HDT route, the seller (truck customizer) strongly suggested to get the TPMS. In his words.."With this truck, you'll never know you've blown a trailer tire until it's already done major damage to your trailer."
Good advice. Have sensors on all tires..truck & trailer.

We've had Pressure Pro since 2008. Replaced the sensors when we got the new 5er, in 2017. They were still working fine, just figured it was time. Haven't had any problems. You don't see many Pressure Pros talked about in RV forums. I'm inclined to think that is because PP is more geared towards over the road trucks and heavy equipment. I am thinking about the new PP system, which links to an app on your mobile phone, so nothing to mount to the dash, etc.

Just returned from a trip to the northeast and bought the TST system prior to the trip based on forum users recommendations on this thread.. Could not be more satisfied and had peace of mind while traveling seeing tire pressures all good in real time. Great service from TST in setting it up. While on the road I had a discussion with another traveler that was using a “system that cost quite a bit less”. He was getting multiple false alarms and inaccurate readings. Basically useless. Get what you pay for as they say.

Nobody has added to this post in awhile so I hope it is still being read because I have a question. I plan to purchase one of these systems four valves systems soon. I see that e-trailer has several models of the four valve system. My question is when the tire monitors are installed can you adjust tire pressure up or down without removing the sensor? Does 'flow thru' mean that you can. In reading some of the descriptions on e-trailer web site the TST-507-XX-X designations are a little confusing as to this capability.

Rick, yes flow thru means you don’t need to take the off to add/remove air. One of our members, Don Wiesehan, is a dealer.

Flow thru sensors are a bit heavier and require all metal valve stems. They will flex the rubber & metal stems and break them off.

The Pressure Pro system was excellent system, used them for many years, 2005 util 2012. Never a issue.

Yes, flow through are the way to go IMO. As others have said, make sure you have all metal valve stems. Happy camping!
