I have a 2013 Big Sky 3100rl and when I fill the water tank the toilet will run. I almost flooded the bathroom. I was thinking maybe the peddle might be sticking but it doesn't do it when im hooked directly to city water. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I’m thinking that when you are hooked up to city water, the pressure may be a little higher and squashing the seals getting them to hold

Probably just time to replace the flush valve. Usually they just end up leaking on the floor but still sounds like that's the problem.

If it is a Thetford toilet, just replace it now with a Dometic 320 before the Thetford overflows the bowl and floods the RV.

When you replace the toilet, install a shut off valve on the pipe.
Also buy a water alarm.

Detects as little as 1/32 inch of water to provide an effective early warning, minimizing the risk of water damage. Its a popular product! https://a.co/d/ggn9ODK
