Has anyone out there tried the Tymate M12-3 tire monitoring system? Just wondering!! Ive had a tst 507 for years now but my system is getting old and thought it might be time for a change and ran across this Tymate system which was intriguing. We pull a 35' Montana with a F350 4x4. Distance was an issue with tst system so had to purchase an extender. This states it has range above 50'

I was curious and looked at Amazon. If this is the item you are looking at (below) - it only has 6 reviews and the last posted review was Aug 2025. My limit for “try it and trash it” is $25…$95 is above my limit.

I am 50/50 on Chinese items and generally approach with some skepticism.
Some items turn out to be engineering marvels…some burn up when they are plugged in.

I would stick with a new TST system. The 507 kits I own came with signal boosters. Both systems (truck+Montana and motorhome+jeep) work great.

I hope you can follow up with a review on which ever system you purchase. I will try anything but the 507 TST brand that came with the 3121RL Montana. These have the sensors banded to the rim and signal drop and slow update times of several minutes have been my issue with the system and support from the company was none existent since day one. I moved one extender to the front closet and a second extender under the kitchen island which reduced the update times to barely acceptable limits. I have a 350 degree temperature warning alert at least once a trip, according to TST it is picking up a random signal. In rally's I have listen to other owners who have had a sudden pressure loss and the system kept reading normal pressure as the tire tore the camper apart. I agree that my next system will be something I can rely on.

I would guess no pressure system will warn of a pending blowout other than high temps or low pressure. I had 2 blowouts in 2023 and no warning, but I think the alarms went off fairly quickly. I didn't really need those alarms as there was a pretty loud bang when the tires went.

Still reviewing, but tire Minder is looking pretty good as well a fox well and Autel mx but very expensive!! Purchased nothing as of yet!!

I have the Tire Minder for my truck and trailer. It works as well as the others based on reviews I received from friends that have the other systems.

The positives of this system: The screen is larger than most, which I like since at a glance I can see the status of the tire. I can see all tires on one screen; I do not have to scroll. It monitors the air pressure and heat for each tire. The company stands behind their product. I receive a new monitor when the company upgraded the system, and I receive new sensors when others have become problematic and both were replaced at no cost to me. I get new batteries at no cost to me when I visit the vendor at the Quartzsite Show - I try to hit this Rally yearly. By and large, the alerts are spot on but there have been a few false reports.

The downside of the system. Screen is larger than most and may take time to get used to. Batteries in the sensors must be kept on hand and changed out at least once a year. Tire sensors have failed in the past due to welds within breaking; each and every failed sensor has been replaced at no cost to me. I carry extras to ensure I have constant monitoring of my tires when one does fail and replace it when time or opportunities permit.

Neutral comment about the system. Depending upon the length of the trailer, you will need to install an extender. If I recall correctly, my system came with the extender, and it was easy to install!
