Suburban Water Heater Running Hot on Electric

We have a 12 Gal Suburban AW12DE Gas/electric water heater, which we are running on electric in our 2021 Montana 3761FL. Recently we've noticed that the hot water seems to be hotter than usual. We have not moved since early May and are in Wisconsin to the well water is always cold. I just checked it and got 136 degrees. Can anyone relate to this and what is your hot water temp? I know the temp is not adjustable, so am I imagining things, or is this normal?

130-140 is normal for a Suburban water heater. Standard thermostat is 130, but you can expect some overshoot.

You got me curious exactly what is my water temperature. I used the kitchen faucet, all hot, no cold. It was 122.8 degrees. I did not check at the actual water heater though. So it's possible there is some heat loss traveling from the water heater to the kitchen faucet.

Checked the bathroom, it's closer in distance to the water heater: It was 123.8. Quite obvious my faucets (single handle on both) are mixing with cold.

(FYI, I used a kitchen meat cooking thermometer probe).

From the Suburban manual, 120 degree is not available, 130 is standard, and 140 is optional. Google says 120 degree may be found on some older units.
