Slideout switch

I have a 2003 Big sky Montana 3670RL. The hydraulic slides operate on one switch which seems to be the issue. It comes in no problem but to retract it have to hit the out multiple time to engage the switch. Im posting a picture of the switch to see if anyone know where to find a new one. Its 6 prong on the back of switch. Thanks in advance for the help.

I assume you are saying you have to hit the switch several times before it retracts the slides. But once starts retracting, then it completes with no stoppage. That implies it is the switch. It is inexpensive to replace. But if you wanted to verify it is the switch before you spend and money, here is what you can do.

This is a Double Pole Double Throw switch. You can swap the Retract wires with the Extend wires and the problem should now be with the Extend function (the IN side of the switch). Retract (now the OUT side of the switch) should work just fine. This demonstrates the contacts for the IN side of the switch are failing.

If the slide stops during Retract and you have to release the switch and then press the switch again, I would look at replacing the 12V self-resetting circuit breaker leading to the pump assembly.

If the switch is not sealed try spraying some WD40 in any openings you see that might reach the contacts. You can flood it and shake out the extra. Sometimes contacts get dirty or slightly corroded and have symptoms like that. WD40 will clean those and maybe allow it to work again. Contact cleaner works also.

I had to replace one on mine a few years ago. Our local Camping World had one for about $9.

You may also have a dual polarity solenoid on the pump motor that is intermittent … the solenoid has and extend and retract side that reverses the power to the motor..

Considering the age of your unit I would also verify that solenoid is good before replacing the switch .. the switch simply sends a 12 VDC signal to either the extend or retract terminal on the solenoid
