Slide Out Motors

HELLO, I heard that the Montana slide out motors don't last. I wonder if anyone has had this problem with the motors going bad on the slides?

Both on or bed went after a year and 3 months old.
The repair guy put new upgraded motors in that should last longer.

Both sides of my bed Bal exact slide failed shortly after the warranty elapsed. I Told the service guy’s multiple times I didn’t like the sound they were making from the moment I got the rig and got nowhere. Worked with an independent service tech and Bal to replace both motors and to fine tune things and they pur like kittens now. Along with chain alignment issues if the cables aren’t tuned right the motor gear shafts will bend and gears dig into the housings making all kinds of racket eventually failing.
