Slide leaks thoughts?

One side of our bedroom slide leaks. We had Affinity look at it right before the National Rally. They didn't fix it apparently (we had several weeks of dry weather). Last big rain, saw water running under the window and down the wall. I ended up taking the window out next day and the wall under the window was all wet & had some fungi. Looks like the leak fills up the wall. I am taking it to service center next Tuesday in FL. They said I might need to pay for finding the leak (bought new in April). Any comments on what I should expect? Should we replace the slide wall and bottom since we know it has been we often? Should I expect to pay?

We also leak on one of the living room slides. Not as much but we always leave a towel when we know it will rain and it is always damp after.

We had issues with leaks in some of our slides, and it was always the end windows. Not sure why, but the flange caulking between the window flange and the fiberglass wall surface would shrink enough to cause a paper thin gap where the water would enter into the wall cavity, run down to the floor and then migrate under the wall into the carpet. The first time it happened, even called out a mobile RV guy, and he couldn't pin point where it was leaking. I finally discovered where it was coming from and used silicone caulking around the entire window flange, this at the front window of the large curb side slide. The next leak was the front window of the bedroom slide, a did the same thing to it. One more leak from the rear window of the large cub side slide, and this time caulked every window on the rig, and haven't had a leak issue since. I used automotive black silicone as we have black frames, but clear would also work as well.

Did you caulk around the the outer edge of the rubber gasket/seal or the perimeter rough opening of the window?

Our rig is older and has the old style windows. I caulked around the perimeter of the flange so it sealed between the edge of the flange to the surface of the wall. Not sure how to seal the newer style windows that have the frameless construction, if that is what is leaking.

We are fortunate we did not have any slide water leaks in our 06 3400 or this 13 3402....yet

Had costly leak in dining room slide out

Water was leaking from the side window through the wall and into the flooring. Never saw it till the floor collapsed from rotting out. It only took a little over a year to cause $3K in damage. Since I never saw water inside the wall and since it was probably leaking since it was built, I think it is a latent defect to be covered under warranty or extended warranty but both say they do not cover water damage. I am still disputing that with them. So don't just wipe up the water, get the leak fixed or it will be very expensive.

Why would you be paying for anything inside of the first year? Isn't all of this kind of stuff covered until the first year warranty???

Don't you just love those extended warranties that we pay thousands for only to find out that they don't cover anything much more that a cabinet knob.

We have a 2021 Montana HC 373RD, during a rainstorm I noticed water running down the inside of the wall on the kitchen slide where the dinette is. It seems to be entering around the bottom corner radius, I caulked the outside but only from the top of the push out window, rained again today and yes it still leaks. Any suggestions?

Check and make sure the weep holes, bottom of frame, face to the outside. Some have reported windows installed backwards.

Is it wet at the floor or is it getting wet mid-wall around the window area, and then running down to the floor?

Water is coming in where the frame and wall meet just past the radius corner where the screw is.

Im betting the window is not installed properly with butyl tape. Ive seen where some have removed the window and and cleaned the frame and reinstalled , then caulked completely around it. Also make sure the weep holes are facing downwards, as its been known that they have installed the windows upside down at the factory.
