Has anyone been having issue with accessing the MOC website the past couple of days? I get a blank screen that says server error more times than not both at home and at work. Some responses won't post either. Maybe this is the admin subtle way of telling me to zip it. :)

I think the forum website was down since I could connect pretty much every other place I peruse. For now, I've reported the forum is back up but I don't see Avatars. I don't think you have one, but even my own does not show up for me. While avatars aren't necessary, one problem, like no avatars often shows other problems that us general users might not see.

Just as the admins got the forum back up, I'm sure they'll take care of the rest. My avatar is so old I think it showed I had more hair and therefore wasn't very accurate anyway, but I did have one.

Forum WAS down. Many of us checked in on Facebook. Yep we all agreed 'twas down. [B)]

Now we are back even if a few things appear to need tweaking.

Many are happy to be back. Wahooooo!

Glad to hear it wasn't just me. Thought maybe I'd put my foot into my mouth and got locked out. Even tho we no longer have our Montana, don't want to loose the MOC as I still think it's one of the Best RV Forums.

We could not get along without you!
Yep, I was unable to get on also.

OK, here is a suggestion about all this forum down stuff.

IF you are getting "server" errors, as we did for the last several days, it most likely is the MOC server.

Can you still get your email?? Can you still surf over to other web sites?? IF so, then, again, it most likely is the MOC server/forum.

Here is something you can do that may help relieve the angst and fear that it is your computer.

Find out how to dump the browser history. Not the passwords or cookies. JUST the browser history. If you do not know how, then it is time to learn, start with a google search on how to do this on your browser. Or, look for those telling little tool box thingys that tend to look like cogs.

Now, if you dump the last gazillion days worth of browsing and still cannot get the MOC to function and you are still getting server error messages, and you can get your email and you can get other web sites to function, yep, it is the MOC. [V]

The good side of this browser history dump, your computer may surf a little bit faster.

IF you do Facebook there is a group over there that many of us use to chat about this when the MOC is down, and we have some fun over there too. Search for Montana RV Owners. Our own Helen Moll is one of the administrators. (She will probably gob smack me for mentioning this, GULP)

I had little doubt the MOC webserver was down, but I don't know who to notify unless I can get on the webserver to send a message, but if the MOC servers aren't up... well you get the idea.

For me all I can do is wait and retry until it finally worked. This time it was within 3 days (failed Tuesday, then failed Wednesday and was up and running today.

Thanks for the hints and suggestions Mrs. CountryGuy!
