Sailun G vs H Tire Pricing and Shipment Mix-Up

Hello all, I just bought a sat of Sailun tries for the rig from Simple tire again. This time I see that there are G and H rated tires to choose from. I always had the G rated tires and was happy with them so I ordered those even though they cost more. They shipped me the less expensive H rated instead. After deciding to keep the H tires I called to get a credit for the difference. They acted like there was a mistake somewhere but did refund the difference. I know this happened to others before. Just watch out to make sure you are getting what you pay for.

The G rated tires are more expensive because the stock is running low and they don’t seem to offering that tire anymore. I just put the H rated tires on my Monty. They performed very well. I only put in 110 lbs as the rim is only rated for that pressure. After 10k miles they look new.

I would look at the PSI you are running in those H series Sailuns.. Do you really need 100 psi based on the actual weight on each axle? If not... and I bet you dont the tires will perform very well at a lower psi setting and the stuff inside the RV will be happier

It's very likely if you had gotten the G-rated Sailun, you would have returned them. I also ordered them several months back, and the ones that came in were 4 years old. I went with the H-rated and am very happy with them.

Four years? Wow. I thought seven months on what I received was a lot.

It took some fussing with them, but they finally agreed to pay for the return shipping and a full refund. So it turned out okay.

The Gs are a heavier tire and that affects price as well. I’ll run them per the weight chart which will be around 95 psi. I’m just not happy that they will charge for the G and deliver the less expensive H. Most assume that the higher rated tire would cost more and wind up overpaying for tires.
