Are the sun shade screens worth the investment? If so, suggestions on what mfg and where to purchase? We have a 2022 Keystone Montana High Country 281ck. (orderlink always appreciated)
Thank you and happy & safe travels, especially during the holiday weekend!

Lots of folks here in the forum use them. Keep in mind that these awnings have ZERO tolerance for wind. I dont have a sunscreen but i wonder what you do with them if a sudden storm pops up and you need to retract the awning before it gets blown over your RV.

We have a vista Shade, have had it 4 years, no issues. We use ours a lot in Florida. We also used it in NM and AZ.
I always try to get a North or East side exposure when it’s hot, but can’t always. We just left Yellowstone and currently in Montana so not using it at all now. Had to sweep 3” of snow off the slide toppers before we left yesterday lol. When wind is expected I just un zip it and roll in the awnings and kind of fold the shade up without un-staking it and put a couple of weights on it.
We bought one for the big awning and never seen the need to get another one for the slide awning.

Another Vista Shade user. It is easy to unzip and roll up the awning if the wind comes up.

Be sure to order the correct size extension that attaches to the awning. Those awnings can be too high to reach without a ladder. The longer extensions (3' ?) allows you reach the zipper easily.

Vista Shade Pro is worth every penny. We have had one for years and Love it. As other have said if a storm or wind comes up just unzip and roll awning up. We also have the end shade which works great from the side.
