I want to replace the POS 50" tv in our living room. If I replace it with another 50" smart tv, will everything line up when mounted? Or will I have to move the tv mount?

Saw in your profile you have a 2025. Not sure what brand Keystone installed but on our 2021, a LG 50” fit fine with no mods reqd. Th LG has VESA 200mm sq (7 7/8”) mounting holes centered vertically to the height of the tv. The bracket on ours has the 200mm holes plus a set that are much wider but same vert distance. Its been about 3 yrs but I seem to recall the factory tv used the wider mounts.

You might want to measure your current tv mounts and look up the specs on the new one or go to a showroom.

IF you have a TV on a lift system, check the mount for the worm screw. I discovered ours loose (hanging by a thread). I put blue Locktite on the threads and tightened it up. Also lubricate the screw drive with spray lithium (PTFE) grease.
You will need an Allen wrench and have to put it in up from the bottom (working blind).
BTW, there is plenty of room for the TV mounting brackets to adjust to fit a new TV.

It's a Connexx. Never heard of them and it's a pos. I will probably have to measure. Not looking forward to swapping it out. It's not a televator, fits right into a section not much room for adjustments.

Sorry I wasn't very specific. It's a 50", not on a televator, and a Connex tv. Not much room for adjustments if they don't line up.

If the TV is the same size then it will likely be able to use the same mounting bracket. It might, though, use different sized bolts. The new TV will likely come with some mounting bolts. It is also possible that the holes on the new TV are at a different height but it's pretty easy to measure the difference in hole locations on the back of the TVs and remount the bracket up or down accordingly.

When I upgraded our TV I had to relocate the mount. Easy Peasy

Yep. Just gonna have to get in there and do it, lol.

I had to get a vesa adaptor because the pattern was larger on the new TV and then lower the swing arm one set of holes. Easy once I had the adaptor and the hardware.

What were your two brands of tvs?

Jensen to Roku. 400 x 200 to 400 x 300. You’ll have to measure.

The Connex TV was the biggest POS I ever saw. No help from the dealer, Keystone or Connex. I believe the TV is a low entry LG but don't quote me. I replaced it with a Vizio TV. I had to move the mount which is 4 wood screws. It took about 5 minutes to relocate the wood screws after a few measurements.

I forgot to mention, when we arrived at our Winter RV home a neighbor had a Connex tv outside his RV for sale for $150 It sat there a month before he threw it out

I think my OEM TV was an Insignia. I replaced it with a Samsung in 2022. The TV mounting plate fit the holes on both TVs, but the Samsung was about 1" too high to retract inside the cubby hole...see sketch below. I lowered the mount on the back wall about 1" and the new TV worked just fine!

You might think about replacing your LED tv with a OLED. They are better set the two side by side you will see the difference. Of course there is still not much worth watching.

If you want to make that new TV go from good to amazing, get a calibration Blu-ray disc. Disney WOW, and Spears & Munsil are both good ones. Just put the disc in your Blu-ray player and it will walk you through all the adjustments. The factory settings for brightness, contrast, back light, etc are far from optimum. The process takes half an hour or so and will stay calibrated regardless of input source.

A well calibrated LG OLED has an amazing picture.

Will the settings stick after power loss? Just wondering if disconnecting shore power would cause the settings to be lost.

No, at least on my Samsungs it won't. The picture settings and the antenna scan channels from the last scan are always there even after weeks of no shore power.

That's what I figure I'll have to do.

If you do have to buy a VESA adapter, you can just drill 4 holes in the adapter to match the ones in the OEM bracket to adjust the elevation difference. The one I bought has a little offset in the bracket to allow clearance for the bolt heads. I used 5/16" bolts and nylock nuts. Be extremely cautious with the bolts that actually screw into the threaded inserts on the TV. They will absolutely be metric size; some use 5mm, others 6mm. Don't use bolts that are too long, those are not bottomless inserts.

If you do move the OEM bracket, never assume the camper is level. If there's a surface you can put a small framing square against to determine mounting position, it will be much better.

Our 2020 3121RL came with Jensen TV's. The LR TV developed an audio output problem after 4 years, so decided to replace with a same-size smart TV. Opted for a Samsung. Mounting bracket was compatible with the TV's hole spacing but I had to go to hardware store to get different size screws. Had to move the bracket up on the wall, but fortunately the difference between the old TV and new TV was equal to the distance between mounting holes on the bracket, so just moved it up one set of holes. If that had not been the case, moving the mount would have been a bit more challenging but would just involve careful measuring and alignment. Project was such an improvement that I proactively replaced the bedroom TV with a Samsung, too.
