I removed the Apollo micro/conv oven (our second in 2 years) and replaced it with a different brand. The plastic surround from the Apollo doesn't fit the new one and I would like to install some trim to finish off the install. Where can I get matching wood? I have an '05 Montana 3400.

You might try plastic.Out here on the west cost we have stores called Tap plastics,I used a 1/4in thick sheet on the side and back of my stove to keep my walls clean.

Try home improvement stores or lumber yards that have wall paneling with matching trim. Most of the trim pieces are plastic with a wood look finish. Another option is to use wood and stain it yourself to match the 5er finish, or you could paint it black like the original trim. Hope this helps.

Someone had posted a link on here about 5 months ago to an e-bay store which had the cabinet doors which matched exactly. I can't remember the e-bay store name...sorry. We have a store in Oklahoma City called Builders Surplus. They have a LOT of wood which matches the standard Monty wood.

Hope this helps some.

Don't think that you want to box in your new micro/conv oven. Our new one generates a lot of heat--not as much as the Apollo, but still very warm. I finished ours by getting the plastic honeycomb ceiling panel for lights. I cut it about 2 1/2 inches wider on the top and bottom and an inch wider on the sides. I painted the whole area behind the new surround black so you couldn't see the open area around the oven. I glued in 1/2" wooden blocks painted black, three on the top and three on the bottom, with pre-drilled holes to put small screws in to hold the surround in place. I got silver plastic, but would go with plain and paint it whatever color you wanted.
