Well looks like my progressive dynamics Inteli-Power PD52DCSD Auto transfer relay switch is bad, not fully transferring over after using generator. Had mobile tech look at what is going on and came to same conclusion. I'm guessing some of you out there have and to replace the transfer switch, what brand did you go with and why? Thanks for the input

I installed this one.

Go Power! TS-50 50 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch Amazon.com. $245

Look into a manual switch. They just work. They don’t fail. Yes you haft to throw it manually but it is no big deal. You will probably be out of your camper anyway. Just go flip the switch. I make my own manual switch and have never had one problem.

Not sure what year your Monty is, but this became a problem for us within the first year after buying ours; we have a 3791RD (2021). There is a huge thread in here with tons of information but I'm not that computer savvy so I can't post it here. Anyhow, within the first 2 years we went through 3 transfer switches and while Keystone was helpful in fixing the issue, they really weren't very forthcoming in the WHY the issue was happening. Long story short, they no longer use PD, they install Southwire Product. Apparently the PD units they were installing weren't really designed to handle full-time RV'ing or for that matter 5, 6 or 7 month trips, they would just bust. Don't ask me how I know, let's just say the information was given to me by someone in the know. Having said that, I have the Southwire 50amp and have never had another issue. Additionally, if you are mechanically inclined the swap is super easy and will save you a couple bucks from having to pay a mobile tech. CAUTION**** Just make sure your coach is DISCONNECTED from POWER!!! Get after it!!
