I'm a little late to the party, just saw this today. Most excellent job my friend. What did you use, a couple of kitchen cabinet drawer bases and have a top made up with solid surface material? I replaced mine with a table I found on Wayfair that fit perfectly and then found some comfortable and sturdy chairs at a discount furniture place. I don't have the drawers underneath, mine is so deep that I have to lay the chairs down under the table for travel mode. I did install a couple of eye bolts on the table legs to strap the chairs to. there's plenty of room for both of us to use our laptops and my wife's craft projects and when we eat, enough room to push everything to the back to make room for plates. I've relabeled it the "dinesk".
Did your rig come with one of the sliding dinette tables? I'm not a big fan of those but probably does offer the most flexibility for the space, it seems like the entire industry is using those now.
