I have replaced 3 slideout motors in my 2023 Model 3293RD Fifth Wheel. These are the in wall motors used in the cable system on my bedroom slide and raised living room slide. These repair technicians say they replace these motors with a different manufacturer motor. At a rough cost of $1000 per motor, this is a significant problem and should have been covered by Montanna. Has anyone else experienced similar issues and have sny suggestions?

I'm guessing you have Schwintek slides. I had to replace one of the motors on my living room slide a couple of years ago. It was $89 on Amazon. I think $1000 per motor is insane.

If cable slide mechanisms then these are by NORCO industries or BAL. Exact slide and Accu slide. Schwintek is a Lippert system.

My mistake. I missed the line
"These are the in wall motors used in the cable system on my bedroom slide and raised living room slide".
That still seems outrageously expensive though.

My exact slide motors were never set up right from the factory and failed shortly after the warranty lapsed. I was able to find a savvy tech and together with BAL’s help got both replaced and setup right. Have no idea what the $1,000 per motor is all about. My replacement and labor costs were less than $800 for the two.
