Yes, look through the past posts. Slide skis worked for me. Chuck S has a really nice, detailed post on another solution as well. Whatever you do, do it sooner rather than later. It will only keep getting worse. Good luck! How are you all patching the area where the original material on the outside of the slideout floor is wearing off?
Im thinking something like flex tape on amazon would be a quality fix.
Di you recall the tape you used? There are several posts on here. However, researching further, we found out that the issue on our 2016 was an easy slide adjustment. However, we still had to fix the torn fabric and found the "tape" made just for that material and purpose and used that. So far all is back to working.
Good evening - I am heading in for a repair on my slides. I have thought about attaching the skis to the underside as you had in your post. How is this working for you? Did you do all of the slides or just the one causing the problem? Thank youIused a 4” x 3/16 “ piece of industrial grade plastic used on equipment that needs to slide. Counter sunk screws and put sealant under. Cut a 45 deg on end next to roller. Mine was only wearing on the rollers. Hard to get a good pic. Had to order a sheet and cut my own strips.
