Removing Roller Shades From Clips

having some problems with a few roller shades, but cant get the clip to release to get the shades down. the one dark shade came all the way down and has o tension to roll back up. thinking maybe spring could have broke. any tricks to get the clip to release the shade? thanks

Rear Window Opaque Roller Shade Disconnected

3120 RL The rear window shade fabric came off the roller, due to failure of the mounting tape. I am not able to figure out how to remove the roller from the bracket to allow re-taping of the fabric. I did a search and I was not able to find any information.

We had a similar thing happen a couple weeks ago. The black-out shade came completely off the roller and found that the spring was broken. The links below have various videos about removing/repairing shades. (They also sell parts). We used them to size the spring and order, reattach the shade with double stick tape, and install/adjust the springs.

I took all my balances off and put up zebra shades. We love them and it gives a much cleaner look to the windows. You can make them allow the light in. Or you can close them completely off,
