Removing Chloroplast?

good afternoon
I have a question on the nails that hold the chloroplast on... what is the best way to remove them?
They appear to have a tiny hex head, but without threads, not sure they would unscrew.
Do you drive down on them from the top, grind head next to chloroplast off, or something else?

I figured this had been asked before, but when searching 'removing chloroplast' none of the threads discussed removing the chloroplast. I may be using the wrong search term.

I have a mobile welder coming Wednesday to replace 2 hangers (one broken off, one bent) and want to have everything as prepped as I can.

on a side note to the hangers, the idea of putting a cross brace may not work as there is plumbing that runs between the axles. and looks like it hangs right in the middle of where the brace would go.

Thanks

1/4" bit in a drill in reverse.
Pry bar under the fender washer.
They spin right out.
To put it back up use 1" #12 self drilling bolts.
Do NOT use "Hillman" hardware. It snaps off.

Wear safety glasses, a lot of junk will be flying around.

When you install new hangers, install the Lippert angle reinforcements. These are now INCLUDED on all new rigs.

Inspect the cross frame braces above the hangers. Mine were broken. I had the welder fix them after installing the Lippert angle reinforcements.
Add insulation around the perimeter and across the bottom while you have it open. Seal up any holes in the frame. Stop drafts. Keeps you warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer.

Thanks again for the comments and pix
Got the nails out today... was able to actually drive them out quicker and easier than using the impact
I appreciate everyone's comments

Inspecting the frame braces is a HUGE recommendation. I had one break and it severed the copper brake line that went back to the rear axle and I loss all the hydraulic fluid which all puddled inside the chloroplast. Had it not done that, I would have never realized that TWO cross frame braces were broken. Great advice

Purchased this at Harbor Freight and grinded a slot. Worked great today removing the fasteners.

I also found three cross braces with broken welds.
