I have a 2013 3900FB with the Mocha package. The recliners are dark brown leather. When I activate the handle to extend the foot rest, the darn thing tries to retract to the folded position. OK, I'm no light-weight. But the headrest position keeps pushing forward. My wife is so frustrated, she wants to buy some "wall-huging" recliners and get rid of these. A:(nyone else have tis problem?

You'll find many of us have replaced the original recliners with "real" recliners.

Just what to mention the recliners in our 2002 2955RL are still performing well after all these years! A case of I think they do not make them like they use too!
I can not tell you how well this rig has served us

We have leather recliners out of a furniture store that we bought for our second montana and moved to our current one. World of difference, and we consider money well spent.

Yes, we took out our two cumbersome recliners and replaced with just one Lazy Boy Wall-away recliners for more room We also took out our dinette chairs and turned table sideways for more room and greater accessibility -- but that's just us. We mostly eat out or cook outside so dinette was overkill. Now we would like to replace the couch. It's heavy, too short and not wide enough to nap on. Even just sitting on it is uncomfortable and we have never used the pull out bed. Any ideas? Maybe a futon?

It is a darn shame they just can't put decent chairs in the coach.

Just curious.. how wide are the new recliners that you folks installed? I'm going lazy boy shopping tomorrow. My door is 28" wide and the factory recliner is 30" wide. Looking on Lazy Boy website they all look to be in the 33" and up. Don't want to order something that I wont be able to get in the door.

Our wall-a-ways are approximately 39 inches wide at their extreme widest point and they came through the door fine. Our range is right by the door so the chairs had to be lifted above it. The chairs had to be put through the door sideways. No problem. I believe the entry doors are the same size on all rigs.

Mine aren't even Lazy Boys and are full size recliners. I'm a big guy so I need a big chair and it is big. Went right thru the door no problems. `

Can't tell you measurements -- RV is not in our drive-way at moment. But recliner comes apart. The back slides off and then you can easily get the two pieces through the door. So ask the salesman about this.

They should be covered under warranty. Your unit looks new. Check with your dealer. JMHO [:I]

We have a 2013 Mountaineer 358 RLT and are quite happy with both the chairs and the sofa. They are quite comfortable and fabric seems to be very durable. I liked the fabric better in the Mountaineer than was in the same model of the Montana. Right now, I'm a happy camper.
