We just bought a new Montana 395RL and noticed that the back support jacks are really low even when they are fully up.
We are very concerned we won't be able to get anywhere boondock wise. We have a call into the main company to find an alternative to what it was built with. Has anyone had trouble getting theirs into the mountains with it being so low. Yes we have lowered the front hitch. It helped but not enough if you hit a rut.

You can raise them up a hole. I believe the torque is 90 ft lbs (double check).
Torque the bolt head and hold the nut due to the locking washers on the nut side.

I moved my rear jacks up 3 holes and the fronts all the way up. It's actually pretty easy and they're not nearly as heavy as they look.

Yup, we moved ours up 2 bolt holes. and use the Anderson buckets under the jacks to improve stability. I no longer worry about catching a curb!

You can raise the jacks depending on how many holes you have left in the mount. If you go up more than a couple inches, I would advise using blocks under the feet to prevent an out of stroke error when lowering the jacks. It’s an easy fix if it happens. Hook up to the tv, extend all jacks at least six inches. Retract all jacks all the way. This should reset the memory and clear the error.
