Hello! I have a 2024 3941FO that has the BR closet in the back of the rig. After traveling for the day, when I open the closet, all the hangers and clothes have come off the rod and are a tangled mess on the floor!

I tried squishing the hangers together so they wouldn’t move and used a large clamp to keep them that way, but they still fall off the rod.

All suggestions appreciated…what a pain to put the closet back together after a day of travel! Thank you!

Others have posted similar issues with rear kitchens. The contents of the rear kitchen cabinets get scrambled during travel.

Regarding your issue I found two posts on another forum that might help you. The first recommendation is to reverse the clothes hangers so the open side faces forward. I guess the concept is if you hit a bump while braking the hangers may jump forward but land back on the rod.

The second recommendation is to stretch a tight bungee cord across the top of the hangers and secure to each end back onto the closet rod.

Both posters said their method works. Good luck.

Maybe split a pool noodle down the middle and put it over the hangers on the rod?
Prevents them from popping up and falling off?

We bought a bunch of these hangers for our previous RV. They DO NOT bounce off the rod. We do not have an issue with bouncing clothes in the closets of our current rig. We used them for a couple of years after we bought the rig but we did not need them and they were (frankly) more effort than they were worth. They stored in a box in the garage somewhere. But they work!!!!
