JBL cube went to BT and now will not do anything

Guessing on a solution but I’ve seen this type of JBL unit in the newer models. There is a reset method in the manual. Might be worth a try if this is the same equipment. (Or you could search online for your specific model).

Edit: Adding restore method for a cube - I missed that part on first read.
