The Norcold 2118X in our Montana 3121RL will not power on. I have checked breakers, GFI circuit, both fuses at the back of the unit. Has 12.4 volts at the control panel. Yes, connected to shore power. Is there a “hidden” circuit breaker somewhere in the RV? Totally stumped.

If the eyebrow panel isn’t turning on and you have 12 VDC at the main circuit board outside then. I would start reseating eyebrow panel circuit board wir3s, checking for loose ground , etc

Fridge must have 12 VDC for either LP or ELECTRIC mode

Phil,

First welcome to the forum!

Will the reefer run on propane and 12 volt but not on 120 volt or is it totally dead?

Have you checked for power where it is plugged in with a voltmeter? Also confirm the display where you turn the reefer on is blank.

The display is blank. I have tested for voltage at the control module on the back of the fridge. I’ve tested all fuses and also verified that no breakers are defaulted

Understand you have 120 volts at the control module indicating power is coming into the unit. Since your display is blank, it sounds like an issue with the board.

Mine did the same, totally dead. I went with residential frig route. Very happy I did. Bartman's tutorial was a great help. Search for

"Replacing a Norcold 2118 fridge".
