After procrastinating for about 5 years, I finally got the dually repainted. I had a total repaint. The mechanical parts of the truck are in fabulous shape at 117,000 miles (not bad for an original owner of a 2014 model). The body wasn't that bad either. But, before rust started on lots of little rock dings, or the bottom of the doors start showing signs of rust and then realize, if you can see the beginning signs of rust, the inside of the door is already beyond repair. So, before anything like that happened, I finally got a full body repaint.
My wife said, since we paying the price for a total repaint, we're getting a new Flip Back bed cover. I completely agreed with that.
So here she is, all repainted and new bed cover. I feel like I'm driving a brand new vehicle. The interior is kept spotless too! Always has, always will.
Considering the price of a new Chevy 3500, long bed, crew cab, 4x4, diesel dually, the repaint and the bed cover cost seemed like the most logical plan. I hope to keep this truck for at least another 15 or 20 years.
