Boy, don’t we look like a fun couple?
My wife (Pam) and I (Gary) have been married 47 years, and in that time, we have tent camped, had a pop-up trailer, then a small fifth wheel, followed by a 2-bedroom travel trailer that was a seasonal at Yogi while our daughter was young. As she got older, we had a 36-foot fifth wheel, then after my crew cab dually was totaled (by a Ford Focus), we sold the fifth wheel and got a Lance slide in truck camper, this was followed by a Dolphin gas class A.
We took a few years off from RV’s and in that time, we moved from Michigan to Alabama to be closer to our daughter. October 2023, we purchased a 2021 Thor Omni SV34 which was great for weekends or maybe a couple of weeks at a time. However, friends suggested we do a two month stay at Camping on the Gulf. It became clearly obvious that the Omni was just too cramped for an extended stay of that duration, so we traded it in on a new Montana 3100RL, which we were supposed to take delivery this past Monday 04/27.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at the dealer we were informed of the recall and were not able to take it home. The dealer said they would deliver it to us after the recall order was complete.
So, while we are new to the Montana, having every type of RV except a class B and a DP, we are not newbies, nor are we arrogant, there is always something to learn and we are looking forward to interacting with this group.
