After careful consideration, not the least of which involved forum posts here, my wife and I have purchased a new 3750FL.

For the past eight years we have owned a 3400RL. To be honest, we feel that we had something of a lemon as we had some problems with it that made us skeptical about buying a Montana once again. But we decided that every product will have a certain amount of lemons and we were the unlucky ones. After several repairs we were able to get things on track.

I had used this forum extensively when I first purchased our first Montana and had not used it much in the last several years. Since technical know-how isn't my forte, I'm more of a taker than a giver. Although I did once make a contribution monetarily to this site in appreciation for all the help I've gotten.

I retired last year and my wife is still working for a few more years. We had lengthy conversations about whether or not we would end up going the condo route when she retired. But we have been RVing for several decades and it's in our blood! As long as we are physically and financially able to do it, I imagine we will keep doing this.

I had always thought I wouldn't like the front living room configuration but when I saw this model I couldn't believe how wrong I was! We knew we were going to go in this direction once we saw it.

I really wanted to buy a Big Sky version because I just love the paint job on those.
But we ended up getting a regular 2013 3750FL that was special ordered and left on the dealer's lot for a deal that apparently fell through, because the deal was so good we felt we had to take it. Our model has some extras that are not on all of the regular ones: six point leveling, dual pane safety glass, king size bed as well as the stone facade fireplace and fantastic fan. We had the dealer add a second air-conditioner in the bedroom. There is also a Mor/Ryde hitch pin. I'm not sure if that is standard or not.

We sign and pick it up next Thursday. We plan to be camping at our favorite campground, Danforth Bay, on Saturday. Thanks to everyone for assisting me in getting information that I could work on with my wife in making our decision.

Congratulations, may your new rig help you make many years of wonderful memories.

Congrats on the new 3750FL.Im sure you and the wife will enjoy it for years to come.
We take delivery of our new one on the 11th. I cant wait to get it home.

Enjoy the 3750, we made the same progressive leap a couple of years ago, from a 3400 to the 3750. The 3750 is a great layout for entertaining, we have had over ten people in the living room and dining slide, all within conversation range of each other. I don't think any other Montana provides that luxury!
Bingo

I'd say after some issues with your 3400, you're due some good fortune in your new one. Just curious, did you buy from Arlington RV in E. Greenwich? That's where we got ours. Best of luck with the 3750FL. Danforth Bay is also one of our favorite campgrounds.

Yes, we bought it at Arlington RV. This was convenient as they're only about a half an hour from our door.

By sheer coincidence they had the model we were looking for and the price was marked down on some sort of 'sale'. Overall, the buying experience went reasonably well.

Captbanjo,
We signed the papers yesterday on the new 3750FL and will take delivery on the 11th. The dealer made me an offer I could not refuse.
Now comes the enjoyable task of getting everything just like I want on the new unit. Sadly to say, I will miss some of the outside storage like we had in the Blue Ridge but the 3750FL more than makes this up in other areas.

We bought our rig back in December of 2010 and love it just as much as when we got it. The addition of the second AC is a smart option that you will never regret. Best of luck in your new adventures!

We are very happy with our 3750, and hope you will be with yours too!

Hey Jim and Laurie, congrats on your new rig as well. I have relatives up in Puyallup.

I'm not the emoticon police, but just thought I'd let you know, on your post you have the "angry face" checked. I know you're not angry, so I thought I'd let you know! :D

Congrats on your new rig. We have been looking at that same model and kicking around the idea of trading for it too. Hard to do though when we have the current rig paid off.

We bought our 3750 new in April 2012. We do not fulltime! Have in excess of 16,000 miles under her so far ! In all honesty we have had several issues along the way. That said, all were addressed by Keystone quickly to our satisfaction. Love the unit and it is remarkable, just how well it's handled heavy road trips, and note, we use it weekly, during our weekend adventures. Couple words of advice. Watch the slides carefully (back 3 especially) to see they are moving out smoothly, and not in danger of sticking, ( our closet slide tended to stick at top/ because excessive Redding heat caused floor carpet to bind! Factory spent 10k on repair) or potential of hitting something! Lots to keep an eye on during set up! Keystone has been wonderful to work with. Because of five slides, I highly recommend extended warranty ( we bought Good SAMs)! The 3750 has lots of mechanical parts/ components. Our usage may be unusual, we bought it to camp and travel. We plan to buy another Montana in a couple years. Our friends with ( other so called higher end units) have had major issues that the factory would not defend! Your decision to buy the 3750 was smart and it will serve you well!
