This year we are shaking things up a bit. First, the Wagonmaster Team is vacating the 400 section, leaving those spaces for people who haven’t been in that area. This is not a sign up, that will occur later.
I am looking for ham radio operators to volunteer to be dispersed throughout the campground for emergency communications. A tech license is required. If you don’t have a radio, I can hook you up. We will be pairing ham operators with “rally mentors” in the various sections. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable rally. We will also have first aid volunteers available.
Next, we are looking for “rally veterans” that can help mentor newbies with questions. You might be outside of the 400 area. You will be identified as a mentor and may have people knocking on your doors to ask questions. Again, the sign up will come later.
A successful rally requires many volunteers. For our new attendees, the best way to get the most from any rally is to volunteer. We will have the signups out by July 1. I am asking now so you have time to mull it over. Thanks in advance.
