Hi all!

I cannot figure this one out for the life of me. I searched the forum but didn't find anythign similar. Our RV has not moved since January, we are currently stationary.

Just in the last week or so, we have started feeling a shaking that would be a normal feeling when it is very windy, but this one is a mystery.

It feels like something rocked the side of the RV near the bedroom slide, as if someone pushed it or a strong gust of wind hit it - but theres nobody near us and no wind and nobody walking around or moving. It doesn't feel particularly strong or aggressive, but is bothersome.

It is now happening several times a day and I am racking my brain...

The electric slide has one missing cable at the moment, but its been that way for over 6 months with no issues. I have tried to get it repaired twice, once by a mobile tech and once by the dealer and both times it just popped out again after one or two times moving the slide in and out. I have a new bracket for where the cable connects to the slide so I can replace the bracket myself one of these days.

Could this be something to do with the jacks? Could it be the slide shifting in some way?

Any ideas?

Is there a clunking or popping noise at the same time? I am guessing it is the infamous "stiction" problem. Do a Google Search above, in the brown box, on the keyword stiction.

That's brand new. I would call the dealer. Do you have this recorded at all or do you think it wouldn't pick up? If you were on the outside would you be able to see this or is it just a tremor?

How long has the trailer been sitting. If several week or month(s) If I were you, I would lower the front of the rv a little and hit the button to level it again. We had a similar issue and that solved it.

I have that model and am kinda confused. Is the whole unit moving/shaking and you think it’s originating in the bedroom slide?
Or you are in bed and feeling it then so just figuring it’s only the slide?

Since January? It is January, so if it’s been a year I could see hydraulic jacks having issues with no exercise and under pressure for a year. If it’s just been this month that should not be the case. And if it is there is a issue.
