Hey, we just got a 2022 montana 3231ck. The previous owner said they never boondocked.. only 50A service. We noticed codes on the inverter display E01. Low battery voltage. (See video of toggling the select button)
In the front compartment where the batteries are, there is an on,off,actuator out knob switch. Before the switch from the battery is a fuse block, but no fuse in it. They said they never had it in for service, or messed with that part.
The fridge doesn't work unless plugged in to at least 15A circuit.
Just need to know how to trouble shoot? I know this is alot, but

I am sure others will chime in, but to me it looks like the fuse needs to be replaced and also, the switch (battery cut off?) is turned off.
 
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new to you Montana.

The rotary switch needs to be turned to the On position - rotate clockwise 1/4 turn. The black base is the fuse for that circuit, so the two cables are bolted to the fuse because of the capacity. As I recall that may be a self resetting breaker, but still, there's nothing missing between the two cable connections. After you rotate that switch the E01 code should go away.

Go to this link to find the manual for the inverter:

Check Section 3, starting on page 24 to make sure you have the system set up to automatically switch to battery power in the absence of a 120v shore power connection. PS2 provides that standby feature and the charts in section 3 will walk you through how to get that set correctly.

Agree with Clark. If you want to enable the power button on the remote switch change the setting to PS4. I find this very helpful at night. I just power off the inverter before I go to bed and power it on in the morning to make coffee.

In this picture, I don’t see any blades for a fuse. If it is empty, the manual calls for a Class T or ANL fuse (reference the section on overcurrent protection and there should be a chart). I don’t have a great picture of our inverter fuse but it looks to be an ANL. Either fuse or the entire fuse assembly is available on Amazon.

It's hard to see but I think he's right There doesn't appear to be a fuse.

After seeing Foldback’s picture,
I went and took another look at our picture and by the silver dots, they look like the same fuse but ours doesn’t look like an ANL. It doesn’t have 1 sideways blade. So I’m thinking it’s an AMG (our rig is in storage so can’t verify it right now). A little research shows that the hole spacing on an ANL is about 2 3/8” and an AMG is about 2”. You may have to measure between the posts but be careful not to ground yourself or the ruler if you touch the post(s). IMO, best to disconnect the pos + cable at the battery before accessing under the fuse cover.

On a related item, note the manual states it needs to be a time delay fuse. Also, Amazon also has AMGs.

I’ve circled the silver dots (fasteners/rivets???) and edges of the blades on the picture from our rig.

Adding this post to close out the item about the fuse size and type. We have the rig and had a chance to look at the fuse.

We have the CSW-2012 inverter and our fuse is a 250A. The fuse is 2” between centers for mounting. The fuse cover and base states ANM-B (C).

You can also see the latches on the long side of the cover that engage with the base. They are on both sides and you basically have to squeeze the sides to get the cover off.
