Hello Group,
2014 3150RL.
Zone one = rear A/C (no heat pump, no heat strips) LP furnace.
Zone two = factory installed A/C
CCC2 thermostat
When we picked it up @ dealership we turned the furnace on, heard it run, heat came out vents, we turned it off. Only left heater on for maybe a couple of minutes. Not used since. A/C works properly both zones.
Now 2 months later, turn on LP furnace, no furnace operation, but the fan in the rear A/C runs. Diagnosed as bad control board in zone one. Board replaced. Dip switch on original board #8 on.
Turn on furnace, furnace works as it should. But after a short delay the rear A/C fan comes on while the furnace is running. Furnace cycles off, so does A/C fan.
If you are wondering why we are using the furnace in August, we are @ 9,400' and it was 32 degrees this morning and the fireplace needed a bit of help.
We now have the furnace working with the installation of a new control board for zone one, but the A/C fan issues continues, so I have to think it is not board related. On A/C operation, everything is normal.
SO, the question is: should the rear A/C fan run during furnace operation?
Thanks Jim
