Numerous reports have been made here that Montana/Keystone claims there are no pieces parts for LCI hydraulic jacks. One is expected to buy a new jack when leaks occur. But I recently saw, on another forum, that this is not totally true. Here is a link to Seal Repair Kit for the LCI 16K hydraulic Jack.

Many have found local hydraulic repair shops can replace seals, perhaps for less than this kit. But it may well be an option for those DIYers who don't have a hydraulic shop nearby.

This kit is for the 16K jack which is the front one AFAIK. The middle and rear jacks are 8K if I recall and I wonder if there is a kit forthcoming for them?

After having one of my front jacks on my 2010 Montana having gone bad I bought a brand new on for about $120 and installed myself

Typically front hydraulic LG jacks used on Montana and Alpine fifth wheels are 14K (Gen 1 style) on older units and then Lippert came out with Gen 2 style down the road

A Gen 2 leveler will work just fine on a Gen 1 system ( Hydac cartridge) located on top of round cylinder cap instead of the side of the other style cap

Here are a couple of rebuild kit PDFs I put together using info from several other various posts

14K for LG and 8K for mid/rear levelers for Gen 1 or Gen 2 leveler legs

That source on Amazon has apparently dried up and gone away. All Lippert hydraulic jacks that i have searched recently on Amazon and other sources are consistently $550 to $600. Perhaps you happened to catch an Amazon seller that was cleaning out a warehouse and selling a few jacks for $120 rather than selling them to a metal recycler. You were in the right place at the right time…congrats!

To update about my replacement camper jack. I bought it 6-23-2024 for $118 and they had 12 left at the time.

Brand- FHRHRY 179013 OEM Part number LG179013. This fits 2010 Montana 3000RK for electric Jack. I'm not proficient at posting other info. I found on Amazon under electric jacks. Hope this helps.

The original poster was talking about hydraulic jacks, not electric, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes - hydraulic jacks…but thanks for the info. The electric jack folks might be able to find them if needed.
