Lippert wants big ucks for their replacements. Several members have had success getting the jack repaired at local hydraulic shops Particularly ones that services far equipment. You can "Search" the forum for topics like "hydrauic repair" and should find some of the Threads. Here is one to get you started:

Find a marine repair facility that has hydraulic service. Most hydraulic service facilities can simply take apart the jack and replace the seals. You'll need to remove the jack assembly and take it to the hydraulic shop. Once you get it back be sure to bleed out the air.

Take it to a local hydraulic repair shop and the should be able to rebuild it. I did one on mine and it works fine. About $150 charge.

I had one of mine done here locally. I should have just ordered a replacement.

I have rebuilt several... None ever leaked after rebuild. If the "Hard parts" are excessively scored then a rebuild might not work satisfactorily.. You won't know the inside condition till you remove the leveler and take it apart.. Its not a hard task at all if you have some basic mechanical skills

Just an update. Took it back to Hydraulic shop and they rebuilt it again under warranty. Great of them to do that. They found a crushed o ring. Back on, so far so good.

I wanted to rebuild mine before i had to spend the money on a replacement. Found some rather large dings in the shaft that would just ruin the seals/o-rings all over again so I ended up buying a new one. I would much rather have rebuilt it but... I still haven't figured out how it go damaged in the first place.
Glad they took care of it for you.
