King bed detached from slide wall

We absolutely adore this coach, but I swear it wasn’t built to travel.

Last week we were setting up camp and nothing happened when I ran out the bedroom slide. My wife said I was nuts because she saw the slide deployed, but then she came indoors and I showed her the bed hadn’t moved.

It turned out we were both right: the slide had slid, but the bed hadn’t. So now we’ve changed our setup routine because it’s a two man job to deploy that slide. She pushes the button and I manually push the bed.

We’ll probably just leave it as-is until we get home later in July. I’ve never seen or read about this before.

dedmiston - that sounds like the bed has come detached from the slide structure. Lots of folks here have rebuilt the bed. There was a very good thread from a few years ago with photos - and I could not find it to link it here. Maybe someone else can find and link that thread.
