I couldn't find the original thread. I wanted to update you on the repairs. To recap, I had my roof serviced a few months ago where a leak was discovered at the bathroom vent. It had a soft spot due to an over cut around the vent pipe in the TPO which continued to tear. My rig is a 2020 so out of warranty. I did purchase the extended warranty through Feb 2026 which has paid off with a fridge replacement.
I talked to the my dealership and he set up a meeting with the Keystone rep. The rep inspected the roof and put me in touch with Keystone customer care. Prior to speaking to customer care we took the trailer out one more time. During that trip I noticed a new gap at the left side wall trim at the curve leading to the pin box. It was about 1/8 wide. This was a sure sign of a cracked weld.
I received a call from Kristy a few days later. When she saw name she instantly recalled our last interaction. My last trailer a 2018 Cougar had to have the roof and all windows replaced. We discussed the roof and the new development with the frame. She put me on hold for a minuet, then returned to tell me the the rig was out of warranty, but if I agreed she would like to pick up the trailer and take it to the Oregon repair facility for good faith repairs. I thought I won the lottery!
She put me in touch with Chuck who arranged to have the trailer picked up. They picked up in early December. Chuck updated me weekly as they inspected and ordered parts. I received notice of completion last week and that the trailer will arrive at my dealership this Monday or Tuesday. My service manager Thomas told me that once they receive it they will do an inspection and detail the rig and ready for pick up!
Thank you Keystone for doing the right thing! You replaced my roof saving me 12K and repaired my frame saving me 10K.
They also did other miscellaneous repairs trim related.
Thank you Kristy, Chuck and Thomas!
