One of our favorite places. What a beautiful piece of serenity in the heart of a great busy place. If you have not attended a parade at the Citadel, it is well worth while. They parade every Friday afternoon around 3pm. It is a full regimental dress parade, quite beautiful and excellently done. We have 2 sons who are graduates. Wish we were there as we are great tour guides. Be sure to go on tour.The ghost tour would be appropriate for Halloween. Poogan's Porch is a good restaurant for "low country quisene". Benny Wafers from the market are delicious and so are the Pralines. A great camp ground, a great city, and many fun things to do. Let us know how you like it. Larry

We really enjoyed that RV Park.

Make sure you take a trip out to see Angel Oak, or Angle Tree. It is over 1400 years old.
