like christmas again. my tst 507 arrived today. now my only question is the monty is hibernating until around march, just changed all 4 tires to firestone transforce lt 235/85r16's now my question do you all with the tpms systems take your sensors off when hibernating and then reinstall for the season. i probably wont inatalll till spring but am excited and feel comfortable about tires and pressures now.

I take mine off when sitting more than a month, then reinstall before the trip. Just saves batteries. But I do have the new flow thru's with replaceable batteries, so I could leave them. Just replace batteries more often.

We're full time now so we just leave them on. Before I would take them off for the winter and mark each one as to what wheel it went on so that I didn't have to reprogram again each year.

i keep meaning to take them off to preserve the batteries, but they are still on the tires as of today. Guess I will just have to add battery replacement to the Spring getting ready list!
Bingo

I have the pressure pro, and I leave them on also. My assumption was that if I take them off, they'll continue to alarm saying I have a flat. Maybe they would time out and turn off, not sure. Does the TST system go to sleep when there is no pressure on transmitter at some point?

Yes. Don't know if I would call it sleep. If there is no air pressure on the sensor, the transmitter does not, well, transmit. If the receiver does not register the transmitter transmitting, then it doesn't know that there is a transmitter on that tire.
The receiver is the one that sounds the alarm when a pressure reduces on a transmitter. If the transmitter never communicated with the receiver, it does not know one is missing.
