Is the MOC logo trademarked?

I didn't know exactly where to pose this question: Is the MOC logo trademarked? I would like to have a vinyl graphic made for Hannah that would include our member number, name and home town as well as the logo.

Thanks Jim. I did a search for "logo" and only the third link came up. That one still doesn't answer my question though.

Are you asking about the logo they sell on this forum or the blue oval that was available a while back? I looked into it a couple years ago. My understanding is the person who designed the blue oval with mountains gave a blanker OK to use his art work. The issue arose when people used "MOC" or "Montana Owners Club" on the decal. That violated MOC rules and I believe copyright law.
