Thinking about removing the valances in our Monti, I have already removed them from the bedroom. Has anyone done this in the rest of their unit? If so did you hang curtains? Post pictures if you can.

I took all of mine out. I never regretted it. I installed zebra blinds. You can close or open them or let light in with them in the down position. My wife and I love them. We pull them to the up position when traveling.
I took mine down in the bedroom and recovered them and made new side curtains and the bedspread and decorative pillow to match. It brightened up our bedroom. The stock valances were brown with gold leaves and made the room feel dark and drab. I like the look of the above valance that #eldergioe put in but was afraid that people could see in without the side curtains.
We took ours down as well. Not only because we didn't like the color, but also because of the age of our camper the material had shrunk to the point that it was trying to pull the lower brackets out of the wall.
