I have an AC issue I could you help with. I have a Montana 3120 2020 legacy with InCommand. When I go to turn on my rear AC unit, the space temperature reads 0. I have disconnected the batteries and shore power to reset the InCommand and that didn’t do anything. So I replaced the wall sensor and initially it seemed fine. It started reading room temperature. And it turned on the AC unit. But after the AC unit was operating for just one or two minutes, it stopped and I went and looked and the space temperature was back to zero again. I tried disconnecting all power again, and it’s still reading zero. Not sure what my next troubleshooting steps should be or what to take a look at. Anybody gone through this and do you have any ideas? I appreciate any help. Thank you!
UPDATE: after some troubleshooting and testing, the temperature sensor home reading and then going up to the AC unit, I disconnected the temperature sensor from the control board and got no ohms reading. I cut off the existing connectors, strip the wire on the temperature sensor, and got ohms reading so the problem turned out to be probably bad cramps on the connectors on the temperature sensor wiring at the control board. I installed new connectors on that end of the wire. Crimp them real good, tested for Ohm signal and got it. Plug them back into the control board and life is fine. Been running the AC for about an hour now. No problem. Cycle the batteries, no problem. Hope this helps somebody in the future.
