I had a alternate brand tire put on my RV. What now?

Virtually all of my camping trips are within 50-100 miles from my home. I do take one 500 miles trip each year and several 300 mile trips to my sons house.

On a recent trip to my sons house I was in a time crunch, had a tire replaced but I was in a rural area so I had to take what they had. Actually, I felt fortunate at the time.

Right now I have 3 Goodyear G 614 LT 235/85R16 and 1 Provider ST 235/80R16.

The Goodyear are rated for max 110 psi and the Provider is rated for max 80 psi.

Is it safe/ok to run these mixed tires on my 35’ Montana until I replace all of the tires?

I’d get rid of the Provider and get a Goodyear. The Goodyear is a great tire the Provider don’t know but I wouldn’t take the chances with 100 K camper.

You have 3 GY tires that are all taller then the Provider tire as it is an 80 series tire. I also suspect the provider is load range E and not able to carry the weight that the GY's are able to. Plus being a shorter tire could affect the weight distribution to some extent and ST rated tires have a max 65mph rating while LT are at least 75mph rated. I would without a doubt replace the Provider with a GY of the same type and load range which I suspect is LR G.

The provider does not qualify as a replacement for LT235/85R16 LRG.

Mixing tire designs is a NO, NO.

The LRE, ST tire cannot provide the load capacity of the LRG, LT.

You replaced a load range G tire with a load range E tire. As lots of people have said, find a Goodyear G614 to replace the Provider. And, if you haven’t got them, get a TPMS system.
