We are leaving in the morning from Ascutiny, Vermont we're trying to decide if we should go hwy 91 and cut across on 302 to go to Twin Mountain KOA Campground in New Hampshire. We could cut some drive time off our trip. Does anyone know if it is Monty worthy to cut off on 302 further south or go furher north on 91 to 93 and then take 302 a shorter distance to KOA? Thanks for your help. Claudia & Terry

If it were me 91 and 93 are interstates and therefore better maintained. 302 would be prettier but slower with turtle lanes on some hills. There are no good east/west roads throughout the entire state of NH.
North/South you can take interstates. To the south eastern half of So. NH RT101 is interstate like but once you get west of Milford it is a country road.
