The 2026 GLRR will be held on the western shore of Lake Michigan! We will gather at Baileys Grove Campground in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin, located in beautiful Door County on Sunday September 20, 2026 with departure on Sunday September 27. We have 36 sites blocked for us, with all sites being 50amp/full hook up and all but 3 sites being pull thru. 20 of the sites are premium (with cable) and are $68 a night. The remaining 16 sites are deluxe (no cable) at $61 a night. ALL VETERANS receive a 10% discount! To secure your space, a 50% deposit is required and can be placed by calling 920-839-2559 or emailing info@baileysgrovecampground.com. IMPORTANT the facility will be closing for the season on Sunday October 26th so call now! After that date, the office will not be staffed, however voicemails and emails will be reviewed and responded to periodically. I have a bit of a crazy summer next year. We'll be arriving at the rally right after I've completed a cross country bicycle ride with 14 other public safety and military service members, honoring the 343 members of the NYFD that perished in the September 11th 2001 tragedy (if interested, you can learn more about our team here: Bay to Brooklyn) and then I will be retiring from a 37 year career in the fire service the first week of October. We are going to try to fit the rally in between these two very large events in our lives as we've had wonderful experiences at the last two we've attended. Not to mention, Door County is one of our favorite Midwest locations!
