The ignitor switch/push button on our stove finally quit working. The button functioned but there was no spark. After researching the the recommended replacement procedure, i.e., removing stove, etc., I decided to look for an easier way. Looking down into the battery compartment of the switch I noticed the the bottom spring had essentially disintegrated. After removing the pieces and cleaning the compartment I fashioned a new spring out of a paperclip. Put a new battery in and it fired up on the first attempt. Thought I would share the easy fix.
