Just had mine replaced and the new one just went out again 3 months later.

This change in RV technology sounds like a big failure. Why do they change to something new until they have worked out all of the bugs so that we the owners don't have to pay for their mistakes. What these trailers cost is ridiculous especially when you cannot have confidence in the product.

I am hoping the new board is a imporved one. Just a note for info, on these units the kitchen slide has to be removed to get the fridge out. Can’t just haul this one out the door.

The new board has a heat sink built in so I think they resolved the overheating issue. Also there’s room through the dinette window to get the fridge out if it has to be replaced so there are options.

Exactly the problem we were having. The freezer cools everything. There’s a flap that opens and closes between the fridge and freezer and a fan that kicks on to push cold air into the fridge. When our control board stopped working, that flap stopped operating properly and ice dams formed at the freezer air intake and all over the coils. Step 1 was to thaw the whole thing out. It just needed to be shut off for a couple days by pulling the fuse in the distribution panel. Step 2 was to install the new control board at the top of the fridge. After that it’s been running like a champ.
