Furnace while traveling?

Hello. Would anyone know if the gas furnace would run while traveling?we have a 2017 3791RD, I know it runs off the battery power when boondocking, but my concern is the flame blowing out. Id like to fire up the furnace before we stop for the night when traveling in the cold weather. I’ve never tried it. But I’d like to.

I also run mine when really needed. If it goes out no problem it will just cut itself off. No problem except your camper will be cold.

Thank you!! I’ll test it out tomorrow. What I thought was going to be a 60+ degree weekend in PA. Turns out I wake up to snow today. Yikes !! I appreciate the information.
