Anyone know how to get the front LED hitch light to work on a 2012 Montana High Country?
I thought that the switch by the battery compartment light turned it on.
Tried it the other day it and thought it came on, this morning didn't work.

Try the security light switch.

I haven't figured mine out yet either, but I know it's not the security light switch.

I'll have to check the remote again, even though I don't remember seeing a setting for it, but then I'm getting old.....

On the other hand, with my month old new Monte, I found several lights that don't work: 1) over the pillows in bedroom, 2) inside the mirrored closet, 3) both lights in the pass-through, and 4) one of the three lights over the island in the kitchen.

None of the idiot lights on the fuse panel came on to indicate a bad fuse, so I'm having it checked out at an RV repair place whilst they're installing my 6500-watt Onan generator.

My security light and the LED light above the pin box both come on when I turn on the DS (door side) switch on the main panel. Both those lights also come on with the remote on my 2012 - 3402RL.

On the bottom set of buttons on my remote they are left to right ROOM - (all pushouts) ON - if you push the bottom LCI then the top LIGHT buttons that activates the remote for the landing gear and extending and retracting the push outs. If you just push the LIGHT button it turns on/off the above mentioned lights.

That is how mine is wired anyway.... Not that things are very consistent at Keystone so yours may vary as may the remote.

Thanks for all the replies.
Ill give the remote a try tonight and see if that works.
I do know that the remote on my 2012 High Country is different than the LCI model.
Mine only has a few buttons and has an LCD screen on it.
It also has a flashlight button, and one for the scare lights.

Our's also works in conjunction with the door side scare light.

My light over the hitch works off the remote, but the light is worthless. I once took out the light bulb out of scare light thinking I had a short until I realized it turned off by the remote.

Tested the remote last night, and confirmed that the light switch on the remote turns on the hitch light, along with both side scare lights. I wish they would've put in a Separate switch for the driver side scare Light. My switch operates both curb and drivers side.

I agree. My road side scare light beams right into my neighbors curb side windows on their Monti due to the way the sites are angled.

I haven't tried the remote yet, but I only have one scare switch which turns on the white lights on both sides of my 343RL HC, and it doesn't turn on the LED light. Just for grins I tried the orange porch light, but it doesn't do the trick either. BTW, I put LED bulbs in the scare and porch lights.

As soon as I get my truck and Monte mated again, I'll try the remote scare light switch to see if it does the trick.
